- Another glimpse of Lynn Lockwood's time in Senegal earlier this month:
Our city friends communicate with us through email. I knew before the trip that my dear friend Angeline was feeling overwhelmed
in her new responsibilities teaching Bible to the middle schoolers as well as the preschool and elementary children she’s served
for years at John Huffman school in Thies (where she also runs the library and has taught English.) In God’s good timing,
I met with her the morning of her first session with the older class that was so challenging last year. I had brought her
Tout ce que je devrais savor sur Dieu (Everything a Child Should Know About God) by Kenneth Taylor, which seems to be ideal
for her needs. We had time to visit and share recent challenges, then I prayed for her and sat in on that middle-school BIble class.
Afterwards I gave her the feedback she requested and was able to encourage her before taking off for the long drive to Kaffrine and
our time in the village. What a gift to be in her building at just the right time!
Please pray for Angeline as she teaches several hundred children. Pray for the families of these children
who are hiding God’s Word in their hearts.
