For BLF Editions
- Praise God for the progress on the project to expand our storage area. The concrete laid last week is solid and dry, and the new
shelves for the 1st warehouse will arrive Wednesday. Please pray for safety for the workers who will put together the shelves as they work around the pallets and books.
Pray, too, for the logistics of the set-up, that all will go smoothly and as planned.
- We are praising God as we remember how God has provided for BLF in the past years. 2016 has proven to be a very wet year in France,
but God has already put in place our "new" windows in the shop (2013) and insulated offices (2012). Storage in our warehouse is dry and
climate controlled which protects the books from being warped from the humidity.

USA ...
- This is the last week we'll be praying together during Ramadan 2016. July 3rd is the 27th night of Ramadan, known as Layla al-Qadr
("Valuable Night" or "Night of Power"). Muslims regard this night as special, the night when the Archangel Gabriel revealed the Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad.
Much of this night is spent in worship and prayer as prayers offered on the "Night of Power" are believed to be worth all of the prayers of 1000 months.
May many experience God's power and mercy in Christ. Also, for years Muslims around the globe have reported encounters with Jesus in their dreams
(see http://morethandreams.org). May God reveal himself in whatever way he chooses to Muslims everywhere, especially in the Francophone world.
- This last week we prayed for migrants. Currently tens of thousands of children are in Libya awaiting passage to Europe and over
7000 children have successfully made the journey to Italy this year, according to UNICEF. Many are abused along the way. Please pray that they would
know God's deep love for them and find healing. May they meet Christians once they arrive. May books like BLF author Fatima Kachaou's
Je trouve la vie déjà bien difficile . . . (I already find life really hard) help French-speaking children who’ve experienced violence, the death of a
loved one, divorce, etc. Thanks to everyone whose generosity has helped French authors get their start.
