BLF Prayer & Praise - August 12^th, 2008

Dear Friends and Co-workers,

As you think of BLF this week, please pray and praise with us for these items of prayer. Your participation before His throne of grace in prayer is a source of great encouragement to us.

Praise the Lord for Quebec Hope 2008. The organizer made a gigantic effort in bringing together the best Christian talents in music, the arts and in preaching. The week was filled with the best & most powerful witness we have ever heard in French.

Pray for all those who made a profession of faith. Unofficially we estimate 20-30 who took the step of inviting Christ into their lives. One was a 72-year old 'sister' (a nun). Her friend who told us of her conversion said she'd been praying for her for 27 years. PTL, she gave her heart to Christ and trusted Him for her own salvation.

Pray for the follow up. The churches are planning on follow up that will last through December. Pray everyone who showed any interest, however small, will be followed up and given personal discipleship. These are new babes in Christ and will need much nurturing and care to grow up to be healthy, mature Christians.

Praise God for the 1200 volunteers. Pray God will bless them. Pray God will strengthen and sustain the organizers as many of them put in many long hours, for days and weeks on end.

Thank God He intervened in Quebec Hope 2008 and drew some of the lost in Quebec City to Himself through this event.

More information regarding this will come. Harry and Mars just returned back home at 11:50 pm on August 11th. A long (late) drive!
