Rob & Priscilla Wiebe: (Board member & Office Manager
respectively)
Priscilla has had little or no voice for a few days now and is getting
frustrated and tired. Please pray for health and patience. Pray that the
rest of the family won't get it, as Rob just got over pneumonia last
week and Cassie finished her cold that had been going on for 8 weeks!!
Praise for 2 very happy kids who bring so much joy to our day!!
Praise for our family and church friends who uplift us with prayer and
encouragement - we are blessed to have them in our lives.
Mark Larson: (Board member)
Praise for a great visit to Niger, renewing connections with friends and
family of our adopted children and also the opportunity to teach Hausa
to some new SIM personnel.
Pray for my daughter Heather's term at Capernwray Bible School in
Australia, that she will hear God's voice regarding future plans.
Walter Thiessen: (Board member)
Praise God that our North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church has filled
the Senior Pastor, position as well as a half-time German pastor
position.
I am grateful that God has blessed me with health and good work as a
lawyer.
EUROPE
Roger & Rosemary Saxe: (France)
We are thankful to the Lord and to all who prayed for Rosemary's health.
She has had a welcomed return to feeling "normal" with more energy and
seldom any discomfort! We both are thankful to be able to contribute to
the volume of Scripture going out from BLF to the lost and for the
encouragement of believers.
Bud & Char Kroeker: (Belgium)
The container of Sunday school material that was shipped in October has
finally finished the second leg of its journey across Africa and has
reached Bangui, Central African Republic. It now has just a short
distance to go but it must pass two big hurdles.
The first obstacle is the Ubangi river, northern tributary of the Congo
river, and the second is the customs clearance into the Democratic
Republic of Congo on the other side of the river. Please pray that these
last hurdles will be passed soon. We had hopped it would reach
destination by Christmas and now it looks that it may not be there for
Easter. Delays are costly. (See the BLF website for more details.) <blfusa.org

Walter & Nancy Zurfluh: (CA Reps)
Praise that Walt's sister who suffered a mild stroke is doing better.
She now is taking speech therapy.
Pray for us as we visit two Christian colleges and a seminary this
month. Students need to to be challenged for BLF's ministry and for
missions in general. We will also participate in three missionary
conferences in April. Thanks for holding us before the Throne in these
meetings.
Praise that we are both feeling well and continue to receive good
reports from our doctors.
Praise for the opportunity to speak with a pastor from the Fiji Islands
here in our church who learned of BLF's ministry through us and he
requests French literature for French-speaking churches in that area.
Pray that as we follow up he will be able to order New testaments and
other Christian literature for those churches. They also need literature
for their evangelistic outreach.
Praise for a retired medical doctor who lives in Santa Barbara, CA who
just learned of BLF through us and he asked specifically for French New
Testaments for the country of Rwanda. He indicated that there are great
spiritual needs in that country.
Russ & Mary Ann Miller: (FL Reps)
PRAISE the Lord --- our daughter Susan and Scott Downing and their four
children arrived safely in Florida from Chad and spent last week with
us, resting and house-hunting for a place to live during their home
assignment.
PRAISE the Lord---for a wonderful Global Missions Fest at Covenant Life
Presbyterian Church in Sarasota in February. We were greatly blessed and
challenged by the messages and by hearing what God is doing through the
ministries of the missionaries who were there.
PRAY ---for Ruth Prentice, one of the members of the April team, who
will get a heart-catheter March 4, in Lincoln NE, to check out some
chest pains she has been experiencing. Pray that she will not need a
stent which might require a 6-week recovery and keep them from going
with the team on April 3.
PRAY---for us as we work out our itinerary for the coming months of
travel in the eastern states, also as we get our team ready for serving
the Lord in France in April.
PRAY---for our son Jonathan, serving the Lord in South Sudan with
Samaritan's Purse. He was helping to load sacks of concrete for
transport and also 20 tons of Bibles for distribution and threw out his
back. There isn't such a thing as a chiropractor in S Sudan, so pray
that the Lord will do "the impossible" for Jon.

God IS faithful! Praise God I currently have 88% of my monthly support
and 100% of my start up costs to serve in France! My target to leave is
May 1st. Praise God for good health the last months.
Praise God for the youth pastor here at my sending church - I help with
a Bible study for some of my non-Christian friends (Jay, Vionna and

Road to Emmaus". Pray that Jay, Vionna and Tristan will come to know the
Living God.

the Downing family from Chad - we praise God for the ministry of BLF and
the wonderful 'team' that serves for His glory - we praise God and thank
you for prayers for David's dad, he is recovering and we were able to
share the gospel, he is not receptive, but we are trusting the Lord.
Clark & Esther Marshall: (BLF East Coast Reps)
Please pray for Esther’s foot. She has a bunion surgery, and then had
her stitches out Thursday, Feb 28. The doctor was very pleased by the
lack of swelling, and she is able to put a little weight on the heel of
the foot for balance. If she continues to heal as she has done in the
last week, we will be very happy. So all of the prayers offered on her
behalf have been answered. We are all pleased by the progress made.
Thank you all for your prayers.
Mary Cayot: (Appointee in CA)
Pray as she is raising support to go to France for 6 months as an office
