Dear Friend of BLF,
As you think of BLF this week,
please join us in prayer and praise for the
following ...
Most who receive this Prayer & Praise
e-newsletter are in the U.S. Thursday, we celebrate a time of
Thanksgiving. Throughout history and as outlined in God's Word,
over and over again, it is key to be reminded of important things to
keep in mind.
-
Praise God with a heart filled with
thanks and gratitude for His forgiveness in our lives.
-
Praise God for the measure of faith
He has blessed each of us with as we look to His Son for our
salvation.
God gave us faith to have and use for His glory.
-
Pray for others this Thanksgiving
holiday that they would receive God's prospective that
to truly follow Jesus is to make Him our greatest priority.
As you gather with your
family, you may want to review the heritage of the
Thanksgiving story we originally shared in our
Prayer & Praise newsletter on November 23rd, 2004 (see
below). |

Pilgrim William Brewster holds a Bible as
the Pilgrims pray for a safe journey as they leave for America from
Delft Haven, Holland, on July 22, 1620.
 |
Pray for a 'pressman' for BLF Europe. As you
know, Mike Jensen, our present printer, is in the U.S. due to family
health concerns. They may need to stay States-side for an extended
period to care for these concerns resulting in the need for a printer in
France. If you are interested in more information
regarding the technical specifications - please contact
Harry by e-mail or at the
Wheaton office at
(630) 221-1980. |
 |
-
Pray for the 50,000 New Testament Project
for France. 10,000 N.T. have been funded.
-
Pray for funds to print 40,000 more
still needed.
-
Pray for God to prepare the hearts of those
who will receive a N.T. "...my word shall not return void, but shall
accomplish what I desire..."

Praise the Lord for the move our new office
here in Carol Stream, IL! It's only a few blocks from where we were but
the new facility where we share with 3 other Christian organizations is
nice. This move allows us to office with lower rent
and be even more fiscally responsible.
Praise God the move has been relatively smooth. Pray
for His provision as we unpack, string cables and all the rest of that
good "moving stuff" we need to complete to get back in the swing of
things. |
