BLF Ministries Leadership
Pray for the BLF Ministries Board Leadership Team planning the Board meeting on June 29th and for
Angela Brandle (Executive Director) preparing a presentation to the Board based on the vision that God has given to
BLF Ministries for our future ministry. Ask God to guide the Board’s discussions, and for all present to be sensitive
to the leading of the Holy Spirit so that through faith, our decisions will be pleasing to God (Hebrews 11:6).
|
Pray for some experienced people that Angela Brandle has invited to consider serving with
BLF Ministries. Pray that they will recognize God’s clear leading as they pray about the possibility of
joining BLF. We are looking for the right people to serve in the right roles as we seek not only to expand
our work of getting much needed biblical literature to more of the world’s French-speakers, but also to
introduce our ministry to new people in the U.S.A. to grow our team of caring donors so that more biblical
resources can be supplied to partners in evangelism, disciple-making and training of Christian leaders in
places where so few people have the means to know and grow in Christ.

Democratic Republic of Congo
This week, BLF’s partner Pastor Jonas Muyima and his team are in Mukedi to train Sunday School teachers.
Pray for the Sunday School teachers to be effectively equipped to lay a foundation of biblical knowledge,
understanding, and application in the lives of children and young people. The DRC is suffering a new wave
of Covid-19. The training team uses crowded public transport daily (see photo), exposing them to the risk
of infection. Ask God to keep them healthy and safe to do His work in the DRC.
Praise God for healing Professor Roger Ibengi of New Life University, Kinshasa, who was hospitalized for
6 days with fever and other serious symptoms. Prof. Ibengi serves as a volunteer translator for BLF Ministries.
Pray for his convalescence.

Books for UBECA. Thank God that the shipment of books from France are safely in DRC with
Mr. Michel Mibitile, the logistician from UBECA (Building Hope in Central Africa University), and they'll
be in Dungu this week! Pray also for professors at the school who are creating a theological program that
will address the specific needs of the Church in northeast Congo. Pray that the theological department at
UBECA will be able to open in the fall of 2022 as planned, and that students who want to study will be
enabled to do so.

Haiti
The generator and water pump supplied by brothers and sisters in Quebec to the new Bible School
in Haiti have brought great blessings to the students who are growing food to sustain themselves
(see photos). They ask us to join them in prayer for a 2,000-liter water tank. Pray for teachers
and students at the school to apply God’s word deeply in their lives so that they will be examples
to imitate as they imitate Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1) when teaching His word to Haitian people.

France
Nathan and Annie Phillips have engaged a lawyer to work on renewing their residence papers in France.
They are happy with her quick progress. Pray for the matter to be resolved.
Pray for Board Member Rory Clark and his family as Rory’s father Walter (who will be
99 on July 6) is nearing the end of his earthly life. Pray for Rory’s youngest daughter planning to
return from overseas.
Thank you for visiting these groups and places on your knees and for making a difference there
through prayer.
