"So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations; and from David until
the exile to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the exile to Babylon until the Christ, fourteen generations."
--Matthew 1:17
For ages and ages, man has looked for the coming of the Messiah. The redeemer hope of all man. Him who was born
to bless all who trust in Him, with the forgiveness from God for each person's transgressions against Him.
That man who was born whose name is Jesus - who would "save His people from their sins". Jesus the ultimate gift
to each person.
NOW is the time to focus on praying for your family, for your neighbors,
your co-workers, your friends - all who have not trusted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Seize the opportunities
presented to you this Christmas season, to tell them who Jesus is, and why He was born. While you pray
regarding that, we would ask you to reach beyond, and pray for the Francophone world, that French speakers
might also come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord as well.
NOW is the strategic time to pray.
May God richly bless you as you pray and praise Him this week.

For
BLF Canada ...
- Praise the Lord for a successful board
meeting last weekend (Nov. 15th)
- Please pray for pastors in Togo who have received BLF resources and training over the years.
Pray they will continue to be effective in their ministries and that the printed word will continue to speak long
after the missionaries have left!
- Please pray for evangelism in Quebec. Last week an evangelism campaign took place in
Verdun, Quebec. Literature was mailed out to every home in the area. Pray that people’s hearts would be
open to Christ’s truth.

...
- Please join us in prayer for the country of Tunisia, represented by President Beji Caid Essebsi
and Prime Minister Youssef Chahed. Tunisia has been independent from France since 1956. Arabic is the official language,
but French is widely used in this modern Arab country, the birthplace of the Arab Spring. The government resists political
enforcement of Islam, but fundamentalist groups gain followers, especially among the country’s restless young people.
Tunisia is one of the top 15 countries in the world with the smallest percentage of Christians. Most Christians in Tunisia
are expatriates, but indigenous believers now number over 500. Tragically, few Tunisian believers remain faithful for
more than 10 years due to spiritual, family and cultural pressures. Pray for lasting commitments to Jesus and for a
boldness to share their faith with neighbors. Media is important for reaching Tunisians. Pray for more Christian workers,
especially from Arabic-speaking countries. Pray that God would breathe His breath into these precious people for His glory!
Praise God for how he is using certain BLF titles to encourage people there.
Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know
what He can do. Expect unexpected things ‘above all that we ask or think’.
