Representatives, would ask you to please pray for the following:
--> The Millers praise the Lord for recent opportunities to show and tell about
BLF's Sunday School curriculum written especially for Africa.
--> Funding (to reprint the teacher's lesson books and pictures for the youngest age level) is coming in slowly.
Please pray that funds will come in soon, as we have orders, but nothing to send.
--> Please pray for good health, strength, and God-directed opportunities for Millers as they travel for
BLF from October 6th through November 12th.
- Please pray for the President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou and the Prime Minister Brigi Rafini.
One of the world’s poorest countries, most people in Niger are barely able to survive on subsistence agriculture and livestock.
Droughts and locust plagues further devastate an already fragile economy. The people of Niger enjoy considerable freedom of
religion and few restrictions on mission work. Christian missionaries have ministered in love here through aid, development,
health and education, winning respect for the gospel. People come to Christ slowly as there is much pressure to stay in Islam
or return to it.
--> Please pray especially for the least-reached peoples of Niger: the Tuareg, the Zarma, the five Kanuri peoples and the Songhai.
--> Pray for Christians to embrace the opportunity to serve in Niger in a way that will draw many to Jesus and strengthen existing
believers. New disciples often feel isolated. Praise God for Christian workers from other parts of Africa who are ministering there.
Intercession is truly universal work for the Christian. No place is closed to intercessory prayer...
