As of the time for the creation of this Prayer and Praise E-Newsletter, most are aware of the devistating impact of
the Atlantic hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Jose.
This has impacted so many - those associated with BLF, French speaking areas of the
Lesser Antilles, Texas, Florda, and much of the Caribbean.
Please, do not fail to lift up in prayer the millions who
are now in great need. Please pray that people would turn to
Jesus Christ as their provider, sustainer, Savior. He is our
only safe harbor in the midst of these and all the storms of life
- no matter how great or small.
May God richly bless you as you pray and praise!

- Praise God for the safe arrival of BLF's beautiful new Manga comic book!
It's been 5 years since we released our last
Manga, but in October, John Bunyan's
Pilgrim's Progress will finally be available as a French Manga. The books are now
being distributed to different media outlets and bookstores. Please pray that they find their way safely into minds and
hands ready to journey with Christian from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City.
- Please be in prayer for three of our French authors:

Stephanie's book is written and almost ready to be sent to the printer. She met with a press attache last week to discuss
the many opportunities she could have in the near future to communicate her story to media outlets. Please pray for the right
opportunities and wisdom in her interviews.
- Vincent is still writing his book about welcoming strangers and refugees into your community and home. Please pray that God
would give him peace of mind and inspiration to continue his book project.
- Laetitia worked long and hard this summer on her book about her experiences recovering from being in a cult. Her work helped
her to summarize her story in one page! It's a very good page, but books tend to be a little longer ;-) Please pray that God
help organize her thoughts so that she will be able to communicate her story and the Truth she found in God to many people who
are where she was and are still locked in bondage.

Canada ...
- Please pray for Haitian pastors who have received books and audio Bibles.
- Pray that their ministry will be effective.
- Pray for victory over darkness.
- Pray for hope for the lost.
- Pray for those who have and are being affected by the devistating hurricanes.

USA ...
- Please be praying for Walter Zurfluh's son, Philip, who is currently going through a difficult time in
his life. Walter and his late wife, Nancy, were BLF's west coast representatives for many years and Walter
continues to be a faithful prayer warrior for BLF.
- As Hurricane Irma ravages the entire state of Florida, please pray for BLF Representatives Russ and Mary Ann
Miller, and former BLF USA executive director Harry Enns and his wife Mars. Both couples reside in Florida and (fortunately) both are away
from Florida at this time. Please pray for God's grace, mercy, peace and provision for them.
- In June we asked you to pray with us for the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy and
Saint Martin which are located in the Caribbean. We come to you again for the precious people of these islands
and indeed the entire population affected by one of the most powerful Atlantic hurricanes on record.
The Islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin are led by French President Emmanuel
Macron (these islands are considered part of "overseas France"). Local government leadership is provided by
Presidents of the Regional Councils: Ary Chalus; Alfred Marie-Jeanne; Bruno Magras and Daniel Gibbs. Please pray
for these leaders and first responders as they deal with the aftermath, and pray for the people dealing with loss
of life and possessions. May the Holy Spirit fill believers as they minister to the hurting. May many look to
Christ to be the rock upon which they will rebuild their lives.
