For BLF
USA ...
- As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day on the 4th of July,
please take a moment to thank God for the religious freedoms we have in the USA. May we not
take them for granted, but use every opportunity to advance the cause of Christ.
-
HERE
is Russ and Mary Ann's Miller's latest missions newsletter. Their lives
have been dedicated to missions and sharing Jesus Christ with people in many nations. Their kids
continue the legacy. Read their newletter to see how God works in the many details of their lives.
We are so blessed to have them represent what God is doing at BLF.
- As you continue in prayer for the leaders of the Francophone world, please include
The Pacific Islands and the leaders Édouard Fritch (French Polynesia), President Harold Martin
(New Caledonia). The three kings of Wallis and Futuna who are the policy-making territorial council
and comprises Lavelua (king) of Wallis, two kings of Futuna, Takala and Katoa, and three members
appointed by the French administrator, who preside. The three kings of the policy-making council of
Wallis and Futuna hold considerable influence and power and do not tolerate challenging views.
Foreign intervention has deeply disrupted traditional culture and values with a dependency on foreign aid
for survival. Large numbers of islanders live overseas and send money home. Sadly for many islanders
the glorious history of missions is not practiced. Many are Christians in name only. Pray for the Holy Spirt
to revive the historical churches and to restore them to their former glory.
