For BLF
USA ...
- The International Day for the Unreached is Sunday, June 4th. If you have been following our prayer and praise requests
throughout this year and have been praying for the leaders of the Francophone world, you have had a jump start on praying for the unreached.
Share this email with friends and ask them to join us in prayer for the unreached! For more information, you can go to
https://dayfortheunreached.org
- This year Ramadan (the Muslim month of fasting) begins May 27 and ends June 25. To order a 30 Days of Prayer for the
Muslim World booklet, go to
www.30daysprayer.com . Like last year, BLF USA plans to offer a companion calendar to help you pray for the
Muslims of the French-speaking world. More details to come.
- We continue to ask for prayer for the leaders of the Francophone world and the countries they lead. This week, our focus is
Equatorial Guinea, located on the west coast of Central Africa. Please take a moment to pray for Teodoro Obiang Nguema,
President and Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, the new Prime Minister. The government does see a positive role for the Church in their country.
However, corruption is a problem with most living in poverty while a few enjoy great wealth from the country’s large oil reserves. Animistic
beliefs undermine increasing religious freedom. Pray that the true gospel message of Jesus Christ might be heard and received..
