For Wednesday, April 19
th
, 2017
Thank you for your partnership with BLF to reach the Francophone world for Jesus Christ.
God has provided prayer as a tool He uses
to change things. As much as having "boots on the ground", prayer is something God can use to change the hearts of people - anywhere
in the world. This week, come before God in prayer. Extend your reach of the
great commission and
intercede on the part of
French speaking people around the world, that they may come to know Jesus Christ, His love, His grace, mercy, salvation and eternal life found only in Him.
May God richly bless you as you pray and praise!

For BLF
Canada ...
- Please pray for French churches.
This weekend (22 April 2017), BLF Canada will be working with Every Home for Christ to host a breakfast meeting
for local church leaders in Saint Hubert, Quebec. The conversation will revolve around evangelism strategies.
--- Pray that church leaders from many different churches can attend.
--- Pray that people will catch the vision of reaching every home with the message of the gospel.
--- Pray that French churches will be mobilized to reach the Lost.

For BLF
USA ...
- Please remember to lift up the CRAF missions conference being held this week in Côte d’Ivoire (18-22);
CRAF is focused on the unreached peoples of Francophone Africa. May every participant be captured once again by
the beauty of the risen One!
We thank God for all who donated to our leader pack project and literature distribution project.
Because of your generosity, BLF was able to provide 300 copies of Multipliez-vous (Multiply) by
Francis Chan and Que les nations se réjouissent! (Let the Nations be Glad) by John Piper to those attending the conference.
- Please pray for Rory Clark, BLF USA Executive Director, to have divine encounters throughout his trip. Pray for God’s shield of protection
during travels and while at the conference. May God do a mighty work through CRAF and these (and other) books to inspire these leaders and
attendees to mobilize the church in Africa and reach the unreached.
- We continue to ask for prayer for the leaders of the Francophone world and the countries they lead.
This week, quite appropriately, our focus is
the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire (also known as the Ivory Coast). Pray for President Alassane Ouattara and
Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly.
This nation is largely divided among ethnic and religious lines. Pray for churches to make a better effort to reach out
to the many Muslims in their midst. May God work mightily in the hearts and minds of those tempted to go back to previous
religious traditions involving charms and ancestor worship. Pray for the millions of people among the unreached peoples
who live in the north of the country: the Mande and Malinke in the northwest, and the Gur in the north and northeast.
