- One of BLF USA's key projects for this year is the reprinting of the Sunday school curriculum
for distribution in Africa over the next few months. We estimate the cost of this project to be at least $24,000.
Even though this material is
available on our website, most African pastors and churches have neither the funds nor the
equipment that would allow them to print it off our site. Please pray that the necessary funds would arrive
in God's perfect timing so we can meet this growing need for the churches there.
- Please take a moment to pray for the
leaders of the Francophone world and the countries they
lead. This week, our focus is Canada.
Canada is one of the world’s leading industrial nations but Christian influence on society in general has declined over the last century.
People are suspicious of terms such as "evangelical" or "born again" and the media tends to be hostile toward biblical Christianity.
The French majority culture in Quebec is dominated by secular ideas and while 80% Catholic has the lowest church attendance in the county.
Pray for the urban churches and for more missionaries to catch God’s vision for the unreached peoples of Canada. South Asians -- most of whom
are Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims -- comprise Canada's largest bloc of unreached peoples; Vancouver has the world's 2nd largest Sikh population.
Please pray for Governor General David Johnston, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
