Praise -
December 21st,
2011
Dear Friends,
This is the last Wednesday before
Christmas. This
year, as you gather with family and
friends - this holy time of the year, we
would ask you to pray for each of us
about how God might use us more
effectively this coming year.

what's on our hearts ...

Thank you to everyone who has
supported BLF with their gifts and
prayers. It was encouraging to see
God work in the details of this past
year.

publishing shop at BLF Europe ...

A Christmas wish: I
with you all will feel a deep joy
and amazment in remembering the
coming of God's son to earth with
your friends and family.
-
In 2011, my world
turned upside-down, it was/is always
in his hands. The journey to France
seemed like a long road, but God
always made a miracle when I didn't
know the next step.
-
I have seen God work
wonders in raising my prayer team
and financial support for my one
year at BLF.
-
I have found a close
friendship with one of the other BLF
missionaries from BLF USA in Nathan
Philips!
-
I have learned a
great dependence and joy by relying
on God for both strength and
provisions -- and have watched in
amazement at the generous support
and encouragements come from God
through His people.
-
I am so grateful to
God for showing me his love and for
the people who show his love to me
and the rest of the world.
-
Please pray that God
would keep me focused on His purpose
for me here through out the coming
year.

Praise the Lord for
a productive meeting this past
weekend. We now have a web developer
lined up to design the website for
our upcoming bookstore. The price is
settled at a reasonable rate.
Further meetings will take place in
January regarding specific content.

Our goal: getting
God's Word into the hands of the
French speaking people of Canada
that they might come to know the One
whom Christmas is all about - Jesus!

to wish everyone a very Blessed

Praise God for His
faithfulness over the past year as
we have functioned without a
full-time Executive Director
-
Praise to God that
our financial health remains good
and we are now in a position to
outline several new projects that
God has provided for BLF
-
Praise God for our
missionaries serving over in France:
Nathan Phillips, John Looney and
Annie Baziak
-
Praise and
Thanksgiving for a staff in Carol
Stream (Sue and John) who have done
just an outstanding job in the
absence of an Executive Director
-
Thanks to God for
the success of the Manga Series,
Crazy Love, Parole Vivant and the
many other publications in how it
has effected BLF Europe and the many
lives throughout Europe, Africa,
Canada, Haiti and beyond for Jesus
Christ.

Thanks to God for
the number of teams we had in 2011
and Prayer for the teams in 2012
-
Thanks to God for
the FPC Missionaries who give so
much to help the teams get a sense
of just how lost France and the
whole of Europe is.

We continue to
praise the Lord for this avenue to
put French-speaking young people in
touch with God’s Word in a form they
love, and we continue to pray that
the Lord will use these books to
speak His truths to all who read
them. Please join us in praying that
many will invite Jesus into their
lives as a result.
From BLF Europe ...
-
God is doing some
amazing things! In His
leading, He is enabling us to
further reach out to more and more
people with God's Word - In
French. He is helping
us to further minister to more and
more areas. As part of this,
He is performing miracles in
directing us as to how to be more
effective to minister to that
purpose. Our heart is to reach
those who speak French (in France,
Europe, Africa, Canada, Haiti and
beyond), with publications that
share God's Word, that minister to
the needs in their lives.
Often we place our books below
market price for the purpose to
place these books with those who
need them despite their financial
situation.
-
Please pray with us
- these are truly exciting times as
we are seeing God expand His
outreach through BLF - far beyond
what we had ever thought of -
despite tough economic times -
despite our limited vision. He
is changing use for His purpose to
glorify Him.
-
Pray that as God
changes us, His clear leading will
be seen and understood by everyone
as He leads us on to His purpose.
