Prayer & Praises from our partners: BLF Europe

	A time of praise from all of us in Europe. God has blessed us with another milestone of His faithfulness. For years we have been seeing a change in the printing and publishing industry and in that we have been praying for some time now. The technology has been changing like sand under our feet, yet God in His wisdom and faithfulness is advancing our purpose – to reach the French speaking world for Christ through God’s Word – in print. While much of our equipment has been aging and parts have been becoming impossible to acquire, our costs of printing have increased – especially for short run books and the replenishment of our inventory. At the same time, the technology has enabled us to produce short runs of books through other printing methods, at lower costs. Our goals of providing more Bibles and Christian books is being blessed. Here’s some of the praises…
John Looney BLF US Missionary to Europe - at the BLF Europe print shop in Marpent, France	PRAISE GOD! Your prayers have been answered! The machines have been sold! God provided several potential buyers which allowed the shop to take bids, which got the selling price higher than the starting price. How cool is that!!! The buyer said that he will have the machines out of the shop by 12-14-11. In January we should be able to start building the new office areas. Please continue to pray for all of us here as we adjust to the new change. Also please pray for me that I might have wisdom and strength to do the job that God has called me to do here in France. Thank you for all of your prayers and support, now Rejoice, for our Lord is faithful, He hears and answers the prayers of His children. This progress will greatly extend our reach for seeing many to grasp God's Word in print! Remember – after the missionaries have returned, God’s printed Word speaks on and continues to share!
Click on image	From Philip , Director of Publishing, BLF Europe: After 33 years of printing ministry, it is a little hard to imagine that by December 15th, the shop will be emptied of all its printing and bindery equipment. But the timing is just right … 2011 has been an excellent year in terms of book distribution: 87,000 books so far this year. Books distribution has reached an all time high in November—the best month in our whole publishing history! There’s no need to tell you that we have had to use just about everyone's hands to help Bruno with shipping and invoicing. We are therefore ready to let go of our old printing equipment and concentrate all our efforts on publishing and distribution! Please pray for wisdom as we need to find a way to adjust to this constant increase in sales. It is exhausting packaging so many orders. The timing is also perfect in terms of transition. The shop will be empty and cleaned up by the end of this year so that John Looney can get to work! He has drafted floor plans and is ready to work on building a proper shipping department for Bruno and a nice expansion of our office space. Nicolas (our printer) will be able to work with John on this construction project in the months to come. Please pray for both of them.
	From Alain Stamp, president of BLF Europe: During the last BLF Europe board meeting we discussed our internal organization. We need wisdom and discernment in order to find the best way to structure ourselves and manage our growth. Pray that God would grant us wisdom to find the best solution for the good of each one of our collaborators. This evaluation reminded us how grateful we are for the assistance of the missionaries sent by BLF USA. Thank you for praying for them.
	From Nicolas Devins, BLF Europe: We praise God to have found a buyer for all of BLF Europe’s printing and bindery machines. The buyers (see attached photo) came Friday, December 2, to take pictures, and the same day made the 30% down payment, guaranteeing the sale. All of the machines will be removed before December 15. Philip, Bill, Nicolas, and the buyers of our equipment. The equipment will be shipped to Cotonou, Benin, to be used in printing school manuals. (Click on photo left)

Our partners, Aujourd’hui Espoir (Hope for Today) is organizing a “Hope supper” at a church in Lachute, (near the BLF field office) for December 10th. About 65 people are expected (Christians inviting non-Christian friends).
- Pray for boldness for the Christians to invite non-believers,
- Pray for open hearts of those who come, and
- Pray for Alain Parent, a church member who will be sharing his testimony.
